ABOUT MY PRACTICE

Nationally and Internationally Selling Artist — Specialized in Collage and Mixed Media

ARTIST STATEMENT

In my work, I explore the connection between nature, human experience, and the creative possibilities of reused materials. I mainly work with textiles and nature’s objects, combining them in compositions that contrast the fluid shapes of nature with the rigid geometry of man-made structures.

Sustainability is central to my practice. I repurpose discarded or second-hand textiles to reduce waste and give new life to what already holds purpose and history.

Through this process, I question what we call “waste” in a consumer society and explore the tension between natural and constructed environments. My work is ultimately about materiality, memory, and ecology—and about how the spaces we build influence both personal and collective identity.
